Berrytail prowled through the moorlands, searching for rabbits. Every time he spotted something floating in the air, he yowled with joy and leaped at it. He knew it wasn't the best way to hunt but he figured prey would get used to him eventually.

Tanpaw stalked towards BerryTail. Wide eyes, he jumped to a safe elevation, a branch above, then watched as BerryTail hunted. He was barely an apprentice, but at least he knew how to hunt properly. He jumped to lower elevation and watched.

As he landed, he thought he heard something in the trees. Wondering if a bird had landed near him, he looked up into the tree tops, becoming silent.
