| Water shine padded along the edge of the lake, keeping downwind of her prey; a young water vole with a plump round body. It was a bit of a ways away, so she continued padding lightly until she was only a few feet away.
Suddenly, a crash sounded behind her; and she turned to find her clumsy apprentice on her back underneath a pine tree. Watershine shot one sad glance where her prey was before stalking over to her apprentice in fury.
"What were you thinking?!" She hissed in her apprentices face. "You just lost your breakfast." She meowed coldly. | |
